New, refurbished sandals!

I bought a pair of orange Chaco sandals when I still lived in Minnesota. I felt bad about purchasing them for weeks because they were so expensive. But, I love, love, loved them and I wore them everyday all summer long for almost 3 summers. I wore them shopping, hiking, swimming, and in the garden. I threw them in the washing machine when they got dirty (or stinky). All was great until one day a strap broke.

I was upset. Very upset. I needed a another pair, but I really didn't want to buy a brand new, expensive pair of shoes. I stalked eBay Chaco sandals all winter with no luck. I thought about buying a different kind of sandals, but I really didn't want to. On a desperate whim I checked out the company's website and found that they repair their sandals! Yeh!!! I shipped my beloved orange sandals off to Colorado and they fixed them for me. My sandals got their groove back--new pink webbing and new soles. I am very excited (can you tell?). My new/ old sandals cost me $36 plus shipping.

Now, if only Dansko would do repairs.
