Theo: 3 Months

The photoshoot didn't go as planned.
First, his new-found feet were too fascinating to look away.
Next, he needed to munch on his shirt,
 and his favorite thumb.
Finally he lost it and it was time for a nap.  My timing was way off!

Trick or Treat

My kids "Ice Cream Cone", "Astronaut",

 "McKayla Maroney",
 "Missy Franklin",

and "Theosaurus" had the best costumes in town.  Trick-or-treaters were asking me if I had seen the adorable Ice Cream Cone, Astronaut and Olympians.  Awww!  Yes!  Those are mine!

Photobomber

She has a way to let her personality shine in photo, and lest you forget, he does too.

5 Things

1.  When I can't find Claire in the house, she is usually in the tree across the street.  She took a bunch of books in a backpack the other day to read in "peace and quiet" (Theo was having a rough afternoon).

2.  Gus and Isabel have been getting along unusually well and playing all sorts of things together, "puppies" has been a favorite.  He calls her Bubble Bath and she calls him GooGe (something like that).  Apparently these dog names for each other are hysterically funny--like double over in a fit of giggles funny.  It is funny to me that puppies talk.
3.  When he is not playing puppies with Bubble Bath, GooGe has been a puzzle maniac.  Every junior puzzle we own is put together and taken apart multiple times a day.  Every puzzle.  Every day.  Multiple times.  Its a bit obsessive, but cute nonetheless.

4.  Swim season started this past week.  Lily hesitantly joined the team this year, convinced that she was going to make a fool of herself.  I knew that she would be just fine and told her such repeatedly.  The accomplished smile on her face after the first practice told me that she knew that she was the best in her lane--we didn't need to boast the fact aloud.

5.  Theo is 2 months old today.  I have been steadily putting away his littlest clothes, retiring each tiny piece just about kills me.
