Not as amazingly cool as the Ollie pumpkin...but still festive.

You need to post your chocolate pumpkin pie recipe! Everyone will just have to imagine how good it is...however I do know.

Mom, Martha hasn't put the recipe on her website yet. If I remember...I will post a link to the recipe when she does.

Wasn't the pie too chocolaty?

I love this picture. It's so festive and glowingly warm.

You WILL be reminded if you don't post the recipe! Lauren made this really yummy Great Harvest pumpkin chocolate chip bread when she was here-tis the season.
Now, that's alot of pumpkin cleaning to get that much glow! But thanks, it was so worth it, a very enchanting picture! You put me to shame, since I thought I set a record years many years ago when we made a pumpkin totem pole at the end of our lane. And actually I think there were only 4 so your record stands. Nice creative work!

Gail,
I can't take credit for all of them. The three little ones were made for the girls by a woman in the congregation. My mom and dad helped with the pumpkin cleaning.
Besides the nice glow, the other perk of carving so many is all the seeds. Yum!

I agree, I've got a small bowl of roasted seeds sitting on my counter right now.
BTW, I spoke with your brother-in-law today in Storm Lake at an HT Jr. High retreat. Finally now I can recognize him after running into him at other Lutheran events. I'm just sad we can't run into you now and then. What do we have to do to see you, have a wedding or something???
