How dare you be late posting on the blog? It's not like you have anything else to do. Yeah right! I think about you all the time and what it would be like to have four kids at home all day. And since you homeschool, you don't even get a mini-break of sending the older two off to school everyday. I don't know how you do it.
It's not the older girls that are time consuming...they play so nicely together! Izzy and Gus are the two that keep me especially busy. And trust me...I make time for myself! Diet Coke breaks a plenty--yes, dear readers, I've been back on Coke for a while now.
Meghan, I am NO supermom! Homeschooling isn't as demanding as you might think. It is not school at home! Claire doesn't sit at the kitchen table for 8 hours Monday through Friday. She is able to get her work done in 45 minutes or less (but usually it takes her 2 hours). Our day is spent reading, cleaning up, playing, and cooking. I would guess you and Audrey do the same things!
Look at it this way instead--I get to spend everyday WITH my kids! They are exhausting, and we have bad days, but I will not regret all the time I spend with them. This is not to say that the homeschooling lifestyle is for everyone, but it works for us.

I love Gus' bib. And his chubby cheeks. And his big sisters and their parents. Miss you guys.
