A fact that you may or may not know about me: I love going to rummage sales. I love finding a bargain--or at least outfitting my girls in cute 50 cent dresses.
I found these crucifixes at a rummage sale today. Who sells Jesus in their rummage? Who sells Jesus 4 for $1? I snatched them all up--nice wood and brass crucifixes like these are expensive at Stempers. The woman who sold them to me only said "Good for you." What was that supposed to mean?

hmmm maybe, "Well I'm not interested in Heaven but if that's your thing, then GOOD FOR YOU."
Whatever lady. Guess we won't see ya in the afterlife.
Maybe she just meant, "Glad I can finally find SOMEONE who still loves the Lord." Maybe those were marked down to 25 cents because she couldn't move them. Very sad.
Oh, I'm so jealous. Nice job, Erin.
One for each bedroom. Perfect.
I found a beautiful crucifix with candleholders in an antique store in Cedarburg, right across the street from the old mill. The lady there made a similar comment, saying she was so glad I bought it because she just didn't know what to do with it, like she felt guilty for having it for sale and now she could quit worrying about it and sleep at night again. You might have thought she'd given me a better deal then, huh?
