Instead of going to the St. Louis Museum of Art, we went to the .  Our favorite exhibit at art museums is the religious artwork anyways.  This church is a pretty special place.  All of the ceilings and walls are completely covered in beautiful mosaics.  The floor is intricate tile-work.  It is  completely and overwhelmingly gorgeous.  I recommend a visit and be sure to call ahead and schedule a tour.  Our tour guide was an older gentleman named Paul, a life long Catholic from the St. Louis area.  He was great, patient with the wiggly kids and was very informative about the building.

We went to the Cathedral for my husbands nephews conformation. The Church is beautiful. Had never seen such a place. Would like to take a tour next time.

I love that last picture underneath the Baldacchino. The Cathedral Basilica is my parish and that is my favorite picture I have seen of the Cathedral.

It would be nice if you would post a credit to the photographer, always. The bottom two photos are mine. An appropriate credit would be: "Photo by Timothy K. Hamilton".
THanks
