All the rain we got a few weeks ago has resulted in an amazing swarm of VICIOUS mosquitoes. They are everywhere and they attack whenever we are outside. The girls have temporarily given up on their sandbox.
We went for a hike at a local state park on Monday, an activity all 5 of us enjoy doing together. I was walking briskly, waving them away from my body and mosquitoes were still biting me. Claire, Lily and I were near tears as we literally ran back to the car after a pathetic .5 mile walk in the woods. The girls have pink welts all over their bodies.
I picked a few tomatoes in the garden yesterday and was bit 3 times on my FACE!

Do you have them indoors too? Even though we (luckily) repaired some screens before the rains started, we still have mosquitos inside. It's a whole lot better than outside, though!
