Happy Birthday Claire!

She's seven!!!

I really need to flip through the camera instruction book. That flash is horrible.

Why are my kids sitting on top of the table?

A two dollar bill and a Rainbow Magic Fairy Book!

Baby Claire in one of the earliest digital photos we have. Can you imagine Claire telling her grandkids, "When I was born your great-grandparents did not own a digital camera!"?

Happy Birthday Claire! Joshua LOVES lentil soup. He is 5 1/2. I married a younger man. We'll have to work on Isaiah Mighty Seer with him though... Awesome hymn.

Please have Claire write me a letter and tell me about her favorite Bible story. How did I miss a story about bacon? I love bacon.

Anyone who had Mr. Himmler for Freshman OT at Lutheran High North in Mt. Clemens would know that story...but I'll let Claire tell it to you! :)

Fourth picture.

Photoshop.

Could be gut-busting funny.

Save digital copies in a safe, deposit boxes at multiple banks, under the floorboards, in the matress, anywhere! for graduations, yearbooks, weddings, 40th-birthday party invitations, you name it.

Love it!

P.S. I love you, Claire. I remember the day you were born. It was the first day of classes my freshman year of college. I made a sign and taped it to my door. "I'm an auntie today". I was, and still am, a dork like that.

WV: Reesupp

"Reesupp!"

Translation: "Pioneer Woman! Whats up? What?! You don't actually know me? I thought that my stalking your blog on a freakishly frequent basis meant that we were bff. Come on!"

You're just bringing back memories tonight... my other grandma's birthday was the same day as Claires... She'd be 97 this year...
